Make sure that you check with the relevant authority that it is ok to cut this tree down before you go ahead. I know someone who got in trouble just for trimming some Eucalyptus. Better to be safe than sorry.

Please call Greg on 0533 841 1773 from Down To Earth Landscape Gardening.

They are a fully Legal British owned company and will be happy to give you a quote. They have all the necessary equipment and ladders tall enough for the job.

As far as I am aware, having chatted to man from Omani, you are not allowed to cut down trees or even prune without relevant permissions.

You should contact omani I would suggest before you do anything as the fines are quite high.

Crofter, I hope that the company only carry out the job on olives and carobs AFTER they have seen the relevant permissions in writing?

Crofter

Think its sorted now.

Will let you know if circumstances change but the person who may cut it down wants to take the wood so I will only have to make a donation.

The Carob that doesn’t smell produces the Carobs and the one that doesn’t doesn’t but has the blossom in the early spring and to me smells like cat p*ss.

Male and Female springs to mind.

Can anyone tell me which is which please as I have the smelly one right outside my front door with the fruit bearing one 15 meters away.

Cheers

Chegs.
