The Turkish aerobatic team are flying over Girne now, practising for tomorrow's display. A great sight.

What a fantastic display by the Turkish Red Arrows. It was absolutely brilliant. How the pilots don't projectile vomit all over the cockpit when they are doing circles, and upside down and inside out, I don't know. It was fab and really packed too. Well done!

Sibel,

Spot on, these pilots are awesome. Have watched them at the last 4 July 20th displays and each show is different.

As always the show is much appreciated by all along the promenade.

Standing by the sea wall in Girne watching the Turkish Stars just reminded me of standing by the sea wall in Whitby, watching the Red Arrows at the Whitby Regatta. The mid-November weather in Girne was what we would have hoped for (but rarely got) in August in Whitby. This year I have also seen the British Red Arrows over Silverstone and the Great North Run. Fantastic performances from both teams!
