I have a friend that got 4 DUI's in other states and wants to move here soon but they need to hire a Lawyer to get their license back when they get here. 3 of the DUI's are over 10 years and 1 is over 5 years so I think it's possible for them to get a license.

You can get a lawyer but it won't do you much good. They have no juristicion outside the TRNC.



If the authorities in his own country won't give him a licence then there is nothing that can be done from here to obtain it.



The only solution is that he takes driving lessons here to get a local licence if he arrives without a licence.

If he's been DUI 4 times, why would we want him on our or any other roads?
