Hi



We have been studying the internet lookin at various properties in TRNC as we are coming over in July to purchase. It would appear that there is an upturn in property sales as a lot of the villas we have been looking ar seem to have been sold. Can you let me know, as you are there, if you think this is the case. Also Iprices rising or dropping for quick sales. Thanks for your help

We have just returned from NC, and in my opinion there are more properties than purchasers, they are still going up everywhere, but the speed seems to have slowed a bit.

I didnt notice if the prices had gone up substantially, they appear to be the same as 7 months ago, although our estate agent said this was her busy period.

If you are ready to buy and find a completed unsold property then it really is a buyers market.

Negociate hard and you will get a bargain.

There truly are some bargains available at the moment, I saw some large completed and ready to move in villas (electric including meter, water, street lights, paths, tarmaced roads, boundary walls) big plots all with 2 -3 mature olive trees in a great location going for as little as 110,000GBP.

I did see an awful lot of ready to move into villas, complete with all white goods, electric, water,pool and telephone for under £120.00

Get hold of a copy of property nc.com, the May edition, they have loads that are completed and ready to move in.

We found that just driving around various sites that have been finished a while (so they will have everything included) are up for sale by the owners and have hand written signs on them, we even saw onw that was for sale at £50.000, although you would have had to drive about an hour to get a loaf of bread, it was near guzelyurt-alright if you like a monastic lifestyle!

There has been a slight rise in property sales in the last three months and prices are holding good, but there is still plenty to choose from and the average price on the Alagadi Tatlisu area for a 3 bed villa with pool is £120K

Beware of buying a property that has been standing half finish for some time, there will be plenty problems in the future
