does anyone know where the metro station is at ataturk airport the domestic terminal or the international terminal?

It's downstairs at the international terminal. Head out towards the exit marked Taxi and BUS and head right. It's down the escalator from there.

They are great and dirt cheap however, when you purchase your tokens ask for a metro map which is free. Also, try to avoid rush hour as the the trams do become congested but you'll be okay at the terminal end stop.

Dont change at Aksaray,,,Change trains at Zeitinburunu get off there and change its a lot easier,journey to Galata bridge will cost you in total just under 3 TL

It also depends where you are going. You can switch to a metrobus at sirinevler. the metro bus goes past mecidiyekoy, zincirlikuyu, and passes over the bridge all the way to sogutlucesme.
