Twin Management are pleased to announce THE BIG JAM 2.



The Big Jam 2 is a two day music festival being held in the Old Tunnel Rock Bar in Girne on the 18th and 19th of July 2008.



There is a line of excellent acts from the UK.



Back by popular demand are the outstanding Spiny Norman from Wales, the fabulous RedRaw from Scotland, and Big Jam newcomers, all the way from Scotland THE SHRINKS.



All these guys are must see acts.



Topping the bill are the one and only 'FUNKY MONKEY', described by Kibris Star as the 'Best Band in North Cyprus'. Fronted by the Welsh wonder kid Jonnie Hawkins. These guys know how to rock any venue and are not to be missed. You will not be disappointed!!



And the fun doesn't stop there....The fabulous Anna MacArthur will be performing live with Funky Monkey and Spiny Norman.



Tickets for this event are on sale now and advance bookings are highly recommended.

Ticket are 50 YTL per night with a 20% discount (40 YTL) before the 11th of July.



Fun starts at 7:00pm each night and will finish late...so get your dancing shoes on.

There was going to be a change of venue as demand for Saturday night was quite high, so we were going to move everything to a bigger venue on 1 night. However, due to the amount of tickets sold we have decided to keep everything as it is so there is no confusion.



Tickets will be going back into All Occasions this week, but you can always call 0533 839 2557 and we wiil be more than happy to arrange a drop off of tickets for you.

My first post this as only joined this week! I'm out in Kyrenia area for 3 weeks from 2nd July, unfortunately I'm Billy No Mates as coming on my own, so was hoping to make some new friends out there and this seems a good place to go. Looks really good, and i like live music of most descriptions (bar rap crap!)Can i still buy a ticket or are they all gone? If anyone else fancies a beer while I'm out there drop me an email and let me know where to catch up with you, and the good places to go for some scintillating company. cheers

Just an update. The Big Jam tickets are going fast, however, there are only 10 days left to buy your ticket at the discounted price of 40YTL, after the 11th of July the ticket price will be 50YTL.



Also, have you entered the Cyprus Today 'Big Jam prize draw' for 2 x 'Access All Areas' passes?



If so, the lucky winners pass will allow them access to 'meet all the bands' at sound check, give full 'access to back stage', before and after each band plays and 'free drinks' all night....and....you can party on with all the performers.....see Cyprus Today for details and fill in the entry form...It will be worth it



Please don't forget....Action woman Claire Morley will be making a quest appearance playing drums with Funky Monkey on both nights...this is not to be missed.....

All drinks prices will be there for all to see and are very reasonable.



Efes 5 YTL a pint

Local spirits with mixer 5 YTL

Local Vodka/Redbull 7YTL

Imports with mixer 10 YTL

Import with Redbull 15 YTL

Stolly Vodka special Big Jam price 7.5 YTL with mixer.



Tequila is also 5YTL........



I think you will agree, prices are good in The Tunnel.....
