In reply to some of the earlier comments - The first message was a general invitation to people we may not have been able to reach or, of course to anyone who may want to come along for the evening to Zeki's. After all, it is a bar open to all.

People often make general announcements on the Forum and we all often read stuff out of curiousity.

If you don't know Glen then it probably isn't a message you would want or need to read. If you do choose to read it, then there is no need to be rude. It was not displayed with any nastiness in mind. Perhaps you need to lighten up.

The comments were not meant to be rude, I know two people here in North Cyprus called Glen so it was just a question.

And when it is a birthday party I certainly wouldn't want to gatecrash!

Also it might be an idea to let people know that this is not a private party as at the moment it reads as if it is, saying 'presents cards accepted gratefully'

If you don't know Glen and his wife Sharon, maybe you should come down and meet them. A really lovely couple and excellent entertainers as well.

Glen is very well known and if you don't know him, then there would be no need to open up the posting, and certainly no need to moan about the fact .
