| İts a religeous gesture. You slaughter a beast and give some to the poor. Previously you may have prayed to God for instance, do this for me etc. and ı will kill a sheep at bayram etc A bit primitive but understandable really. We all make bargains with God at some time or another (or most of us) .............But most moslems honour the bargain - we dont. |
