I dont think you would be allowed to, as you cant buy from the South and bring a car here

To my knowledge you can purchase a car in South Cyprus and take to the TRNC, however, it is subject to the same import restrictions as id it had come from the UK

I think you can sell the car in the South proving you have the registration document. The new owner then registers with DVLA in normal manner after taking it back to UK. If new owner wants to keep in ROC might have to take it out of ROC and then back again into ROC to register it in the South. If brought in via TRNC I think the ROC authorities wont have it as brought in via illegal port.
