Will be 35 lira a head. This will include a glass of mulled wine on arrival, other drinks to be bought as and when required! The meal, as far as I am aware will be a choice between Prawn Cocktail and Soup, followed by Turkey with all the trimmings, Xmas pud or Fruit salad, coffee and brandy. Suggest bring own crackers or funny hats!! Appropriate QUIET music in the background so everyone can hear themselves speak, a nice log fire and ones friends. Sound good to you? Salih has room for about 30 more (doesnt want to over crowd) so ring him on 0533 874 20 13 to reserve a table, and see you there!!

I am sure that MaMachina will find an answer to that one. As one of the 'chosen few' on Ma's 'top table (on ly joking!), I am sure that Salih couldbe persuaded to offer some nut roast. Maybe it would help if the vegetarians said what they normally enjoy at Christmas lunch. That would make it easier. Salihb is VERY obliging, so come on, tell and in the true spirit of Christmas of 'goodwill to all men' , I am sure a vegetarian option can be arranged, and then other vegetarians will feel welcome.

And in keeping with good health as well as goodwill - it will be no smoking (except from the log fire!)

Should be as near a 'victorian Christmas' lunch as we can manage. So, if that is what you are looking for, come join us.

I did originally ask about vegetarians, but we thought as there were so few places available, and most people had already booked their exciting and noisy meals there may not be many out there interested -- if there are vegetarians interested in going to GV, then tell Salih when booking and something nice will be forthcoming!

(even if I have to cook it myself!! - or ask Brinsley!!)

Green Valley is at Alsancak on the Merit Crystal Cove road (with the Pumas pitch on the left hand side). Green Valley is a couple of hundred yards down on the right hand side. It really is an ideal place for people in the Alsancak area as not far to fall home - or get a taxi if you want to drink that extra glass of wine. No drunks, please, but no happy soul wants to get a ticket, do they?

No its not - its on the Mare Monte road, but the Pumas ground is on the left after you pass Green Valley!! Bar 88 is on the corner as you turn down towards the coast and its about 200yd down on the right!!

Oops, sorry for giving mis-information. I stand corrected. My car knows the way,but I don't know my Mare from my Merit. Shows how ofrten I frequent the places. And I don't know my Bar names, nor names of pubs. I don't even know street names, so who am I to give direcitons - sorry. Trouble is I can see it in my head! Sorry MaMachina - may I be forgiven. But I got the Alsancak bit right and the Pumas!
