first of all live in north cyprus a lot more than england i am home at the moment for my sons wedding. secondly no axe to grind just feel people who opperate in the pub/catering trade should not put there customers at risk to catching illnesses.the place was filthy and they have been made to clean it up they did not do it because they wanted to.

Did you have a look at living magazine last issue, there was a bloody donkey in a restaurant, but it still operates! Now thats what i call hygenic! this was a grudge by someone outside of the belediye who used the belediye as a tool to close the place down for a few days, this is a respectful British family operation who need your support, encouragement and constructive critism, if you see a cobweb or something else that you feel discourages you or future clients then tell the owners they are still learning the ropes and need your help not hinderance.

I visit the stumble two or three times a week and have gotten to know the owners a little, they told me, and this has been confirmed by a very good friend of mine who was there at the time and has nothing to do with the bar thet the council didnt even enter the building, apparently an argument started between one of the council men and the owner and power was used to close them because he swore at the council man, ok not a very wise move but hardly the crime of the centuary! It has now been sold and would be a shame if the new chap suffered also.

Hi to all, my wife and live in the south and visit the north often, our last stay was at the Manolya across the road to the Stumble Inn, we visted the place May 2008 twice, bearing in mind we are both in catering and the bar business I have to say the place was rundown and in a filthy state, all it needs is a bloody good clean and tidy and few cans of paint to put this place right and ofcouse the most important bit customer friendly owners and staff, by contrast we visited JKs just up the road and what a diffrence even if it was a bit trendy for us and the food menu was ltd. I make all these comments with over 30yrs experence in this business.
