| A 320,000t tanker is taken by Somali pirates 1300 !!! kms off the coast.and there is nothing we could do .The worlds most powerful navies in the area.Pathetic.
Just read that even if they catch known armed pirates on their way to attack or returning from an attempted hijack, they have to release them unless actually caught in the act of piracy. |

| i agree its crazy, the gulf of aden is one of the most naval miliaterized areas in the world yet these canibals are getting away scot free from stealing and holding armless people going about there days jobs .
the US navy did shoot three dead using sharp shooters a month or so ago , well done the US can we have more please and after a couple of hundred a shot the b---erds might think twice |

| I still dont understand how we can see a guy in the desert and how he is armed from miles up in the sky,and yet a bunch of fully armed pirates managed to travel 850 miles on a boat without being detected.God help us if thats how easy it is for terrorists etc to run around the world carrying bombs.
Thats the one downside of the Wall coming down. love em or hate them ,one thing for sure ,the pirates would hijack one Soviet ship and the vengeance would be that great that no Somali would ever touch another, |
