Credit West Bank Catalkoy

We are thinking of opening a bank account, we have a holiday home in Tatlisu. Catalkoy would be the handiest place, does anyone recommend Credit West. If so, how will we be able to get in touch with an english spoken person at the bank by e-mail. Help would be appreciated

Hi we are with Creditwest in Karoglanoglou the manageress is called Figen Kaymak and she also is manager of the Catalkoy branch. She speaks perfect English. Best thing we did was change to this bank

I cannot recommend Creditwest highly enough.

We use the Karakum (Catalkoy) branch and the two girls on the customer desks (Deniz and Nesrin) speak perfect english and could not be more helpful. Tigatrading - sorry to correct your post but Deniz's e-mail address is:

Figen used to be Kumen but is now Kaymak. Their service is excellent and we would not go anywhere else.

My post was in response to an earlier post saying that "Good bank but needs hole in wall"! Just thought I would let people know that they have one - notice I did not say it was working yet mind you, lol. Still a great bank even without a working hole - Turk bank just down the road had a hole for months that never worked but its Cyprus, Yarin!!!!

HSBC have one but never has money in it! Though, must say it looks the part even if doesn't deliver! It must be linked to the Government coffers!

Hello to a lot of old friends... been a while



Sissy I opened accounts with CreditWest two and half years ago.

Sukru met me in Girne and spent some time over a coffee or two to introduce me to the banks services and then once I was satisfied took me up to their branch at Catalkoy.



Since then I have mainly dealt with Deniz and she is first class. Will answers emails usually the same day, will direct you to their best accounts for your requirements and in general always keep your best interest at heart..

I can personally highly recommend CreditWest Bank based on the previous two years plus...

if your mind is not already made up, I think they are the first if not only local bank to be independently credit rated by an agency. See the results here:

I'd consider them due to all the positive feedback on here and also the Credit Rating they have AA.

I have banked with 3 other banks here since 2002 & Creditwest are best by a mile. Both Deniz & Nesrin are excellent & respond to emails immediately.



UK. banks (& some in the TRNC) could learn a lot from their customer service.
