hi all.. i will be in north cyprus in july...

havent been for 10 years.. whats the night life like now?? prices of eating out?? petrol ect ect.. any helpers??

Depends what you into, dun it mate.



Noisy disco clubs is here with lots of young girls just ripe for that one night stand. 10YTL to get in. Effes at 10YTL a bottle. Water 5YTL a bottle. But you can dance away the night till 4 in the morning. Don't arrive before midnight as you'll be the only ones there, and that is well embarrassing, ain't it.



Or you could spend an evening at a quite bar, watching the sunset whilst having a nice meal. You could do a different restaurant everynight and 12 months down the line you still wouldn't need to eat in the same place for a second time.



Prices for eating out are from 15YTL a head upto 100YTL. Depends how much 'style' you require with your food.



Petrol is 2.20YTL per litre for Unleaded.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if you are into good live music in a venue where the drinks are very reasonable and there is no trouble, head for the Old Tunel in Girne. Just below Anibal Kebab House. Excellent.



I'm not going to disagree with TC on the rest of his post! He's pretty accurate.

There is a new bar just opened on the road to bellapais called Retro , really nice , cheap drinks .
