Can anyone recommend a good upholsterer, I usually use the man in tin pan alley but his prices have doubled, I know of one in Karoglanaglu but would prefer not to use him, are there any others around that are very good.

I used the one just past Erdener supermarket which Denise mentioned. He did a good job covering two easy chair cushions and two smaller cushions and charged 100TL which I thought was very reasonable because the chair cushions had piped edges. He is a very jovial man but has limited English.

There is a good one on the trading estate in Karaoglanoglu. He has a good reputation. His Father is called Ersin, can't remember his name.

you can contact David at 0533 841 86 62, our Alsancak factory for your upholstery requirements. At the moment we are offering very good discounts on selected sofa sets if you choose fabric from our stock - delivery in the next 3 days. You can see selection of fabrics available in Karaoglanoglu shop or at the factory ( homefront )

There is a shop in the street facing law courts, it is on a corner facing the 'Chopsticks' Chinese food place, don't know name but they have a factory also in Guzelyurt, my friend bought Suite, beds, bedside tables etc from them. I do know if you give them a design from a catologue they will make it at very good prices.

Anybody know of a company/person who does loose removable covers for sofas and armchairs and footstools - preferably washable and non shrink fabric. I have found lots of places for reupholstery but so far nobody who does loose covers. I'm afraid I absolutely hate throws.

Thanks

We make loose removable covers, in fact there is a three seater sofa we made recently with removable covers if you would like to come and see in our Karaoglanoglu shop.
