Is there something like a Halfords or Roaduser around Girne where i can buy universal wipers instead of going down to the Honda dealer in Lefkosia.

Round the back of tin pan alley, near shakers bar there is shop that sells all sorts for cars.

Tin Pan alley, has an excellent car part shop, and now most petrol stations stock universal wipers and blades.

If you're driving from Lapta, there's a little workshop on the right hand side,

just past the merrit sign in Alsancak. I think it's called Helix. They'll probabaly sell them.

Mr Pound (4Tl!) shop sells them. They do 2 sizes so make sure you measure yours before buying.

I went to Tin Pan Alley for my mud flaps they have all spares for cars and so helpful

If not any of them, Tem Petrol, just past Girne Astro, on the other side of the road, sells them i think.

TEM garage charged me 80 lira for 2 wiper blades about a year ago - just recently got a pack of 2 from Mr Pound for 4 lira - what a bargain - they still have some there as of 2 days ago 3 sizes 16" 18" or 20". Very good for car accessories and DIY/garden stuff etc.

Mr Pound is great for everything. Only problem with it is that I go in for one thing costing 4 TL, and find another 10 things that I didn't know I needed!!

I'll go there for blades next time.

Just to let you know the Mr Pound 4 lira wiper blades are actually 12 lira, got them yesterday!
