Hi Racoon wasnt it awful. Still looking for half my washing. The restarant was like a swimming pool as the windows were not sealed properly. Typical xx Not much better today either here xx

I don't have a swimming pool - untillast night, when I had one six inches deep on the roof. And a matching one outside the kitchen. Great fun at 1.30a.m. trying to get the water down a bunged up hole as it cascaded down from roof to basement.

But it could have been worse - the water could have been colder, and I am still alive today, except I gvot drenched at Famagusta! Not quite as bad as Girne and driving through it earlier.

Amazing that nicosia had none and Famagusta had none yesterday.

But it could always be worse. I am still alive; my ceiling hasn't caved in'; the kitchen didn't get flooded (it did once in Wales); and I don't have pneumonia.

Hope no one suffered any real damage.

Unfortunately MarieB, I've heard that some are. We didn't get any rain at all yesterday in Catalkoy. it's rained here today bit nothing untoward.
