I feel that some bad spirit/presence has been hovering over our site/land and has done so for the 5 years Ive been here. Does anybody know anyone who can visit my site and give some blessing/cleansing and hopefully give it positivity instead of negativity.

msg 3, i agree totally! I think with the amount of wars that have been fought here over the centuries, it has left a toxic aura behind!

I have heard from the lady and I am sure that someone here can help, it is just a question of who is right.

It is not said if the place is 'haunted' or whether they might be on one of those lines that run through the island similar to ley lines in U.K. I know a lady who does know and hope that we can help out somehow to make life a little easier and more positive.

There are a lot of people on the island who feel things (sounds odd, but you know what I mean) and whatever it is maybe spiritual, physical or geological, so let's see.

You know what they say (or Shakespeare said in Hamlet) 'There are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in our orizons, Horatio'

Sorry, misquoted above. Checked saying with 'im downstairs' and he corrected me, and I changed it, and now I checked it, and it is as I thought 'There are.....................................................your philosophy, Horatio'

Sorry - b ut I am sure you all know what I mean!

Let's all get our Ouija boards out and whisper: 'Is there anybody there?'

Does anybody run seance sessions in Girne?

Be careful how you jest, Tenakoutou. Dangerous games Ouija boards. I know three teenagers who ended up in a 'looney bin' because of using one. They have to be exorcised! So, don't exercise your spiritual enquiries with a ouija board, or you might need exorcising yourself.

As to who runs seance sessions, I know not. A good question, but again, beware this is a secular/muslim country and we need to respect that.

Maybe rather than endangering oneself to forces not yet understood, just light a few candles for Lostfound that whatever it is 'goes away'. But if it is one of those underground strong forces, it might take a bit more than prayer and candles.

Its not built on some ancient burial site is it? On a more serious note I will light a candle and say The Lords Prayer for Lostfound.

Lostfound, Try googling 'smudging with sage'. There is a massive amount of information on performing this and hopefully you will find this helpful. Altenativley, you could try the Vicar or Minister at St Andrews in Girne. I do not know of him personally but many years ago I had my house and land exorcised in the UK by my local Minister. Hope this helps.

Lostandfound, I believe here in cyprus, you can rid your house of bad vibes by burning dried olive leaves,

they actually smoulder. My friend told me to walk in every room with a saucer of smouldering leaves and waft the smoke in each room.

Try it, it won't do any harm.

Dear Henrik - I bet that Lost and Found would LOVE it to be a joke. B ut I doubt the reality is. It is true that some folk are making a joke of it here on Cyprus 44, but some of the things we encounter in life are not always good. Seem s to me that is what this person has encountered is bad.

Good that some folk have come up with some good ideas to try. I am sure that something will work.

I hope so, because it is a shame when 'Paradise' is marred by 'evil;

I apologise if I offend people (a given, obviously) but I must agree with Henrik on this. Surely this is a wind up?

MarieB, message 26. Of course some of the things we encounter in life are not always good - that is, in fact, life.

Paradise (dubious, I feel, but there you go) "marred by evil'? As I said in an earlier post "money". And money, is, I believe "the root of all evil".

Lostfound, I am not sure if Patricia is still living here. She has not written anything on Twitter since the begining of the year, her web site redirects you to another and that is not updated. I last saw her in May.

how much do you pay "them" for blessings and holy water or whatever? I did love to make some money, would this be a business idea in cyprus? how much could I charge per session? ofcourse ı would employ legaly.. What do I need? A pastor, a blesser? A elderly romanian woman from transilvania? wow..

I thought the ages of burning whiches are far away.. getting back to zero I guess.. Anyhow, hope that you all and this board get free of all "selfmade" evil.. hope that this evil leaves cyprus soon and goes back to where he belongs to.. BTW: where does evil belong to?

I am out of here.. to much evilish, unnormal things around.. I can fell the cold breath in my neck.. ...

A Tarot card reading might be worthwhile prior to chasing around looking and then paying an exorcist - remember she/he knows you're desperate, so likely to part with your cash readily.

Remember 90% + of these 'spiritualists' are charlatans and con artists!

In the late '50's, an exorcism was being carried out at a Public School in the Midlands, inside a room that had been closed and abandoned due to an 'evil presence'. Suddenly, the large (6 foot high) crucifix was wrenched out of the school chaplain's grasp with tremendous force and shot upwards, embedding itself in the ceiling, having pierced through the plaster and laths.

Was the crucifix recovered? - I don't know; all I do know is that the room was sealed off once again and us pupils were warned not to go near it. The school chaplain was struck dumb by the experience and ended up in a mental asylum.

Message 40 is scary, but can I just say that no one performing an exorcism should EVER charge, and LostFound has already been told that. I would therefore agree with you about the charlatan bit, and they are normally the ones who charge. No one I know with any genuine gift has ever charged. Could be a good line to decide as to who is genuine. Secondly, it is foolish for anyone to try to do an exorcism on their alone. It is biblical to always be in twos (or more), and one must beware of the arrogance of thinkking they can perform something on their own - hence it is important to get the right person.(s)

I am sure poor LostFound is feeling even more 'lost'. But just remember what Julien of Norwich said 'All will be well and all manner of things shall be well' (and she didn't charge for that advice!)

Without some definitive answers - i.e. my message 19, could it be that Lostfound is merely suffering from acute depression, caused by factors other than what she describes - e.g., homesickness.

She mentions 'our site'; so, presumably, is living in a complex.

Are her neighbours experiencing similar 'phenomena'?

With the best will in the world, it seems absurd to offer further advice, or comment, in the absence of some positive 'feedback' from Lostfound, herself.

Agreed. Don't know as this stage whether the problem is 'within' or 'without' but I am sure Lost Found will share with those with whom she wishes to share. SAgree with all of the last message, and maybe L.F already knows all that.

But would be interesting to know if others on the complex/site are experiencing same.
