Just to put an end to all those rumours about David becoming a citizen, or David being the next 'Orams' and all those other ill founded Chinese whispers, this is to let you know that David and his family are firmly back in U.K. He may come here from time to time to train, but will no longer be family based here. It was great having the family here, but the Cyprus era is over, and so is the TRNC flag on his shorts.

OK, some British men/women will possibly offer 10p for his "trousers-with -the-TRNC-flag" - because they believed in fairy tales. I didn't. All Hollywood style b*ll. Money making. Fooling the sad believers.

Good luck to him, have to say career wise it's logical that he returns to live in UK.

Yup, I reckon it is a career move and nothing against us! Also child no.2 is on the way, so there are strong family ties to be maintained. I think it is great that Cyprus helped him to achieve his ambition.

I read in some replies there are still some board members who believe some crook-PR-managers. Sorry, I've been too long in journalism to believe the dreams of fans and the manipulations of the stars and their helpers. Dream on, find excuses for the man who is laughing all the way to the bank. His bank. Not yours.

Yes, you have lost me Hans. What are you talking about in relation to Dav id Haye and family? Like Jeannie, I ask if I am missing something here. If you mean that a lot that is said about David is rubbish - I agree, but to what PR are we referring here? The story of his becoming a citizen etc. At one stage he was talking of having a house built, but that didn't happen, but I can't see that has anything to do with his P.R., merely his dreams. So, please explain Hans, there is a good lad.

Jeannie and MarieB: My point is that the circus around Mr. David Haye was a set-up - like everything about boxing is, always, everywhere in the world. He agreed to be manipulated by people who were and are after publicity at any costs. From the beloved TRNC flag on his trousers, to living in his beloved TRNC, to etc, etc. All boxing humbug, all Hollywood b*ll. Nothing new, but still the naked truth.

I used to love watching the boxing but as you get older you realize its not without corruption. With Don King (a convicted murderer, who they put in the electric chair without success, hence the hair) running the show, need I say more.

We all have our opinions, but I regard David and family (and his trainer and family) as friends, and as David's wife said 'If we believed everything that is written about David, we would go nuts.', so in one sense Hans is right, but may I assure you that so far, David is one of the most genuine lads around. It must be the Bermondsey blood in his veins. Maybe he will get corrupted, but for now he is genuine, and in any case, the media writes rubbish (apart from some!!!!!) such as 'The next beating he will get is from his mother' (Daily Mail) and it maintained she was going to punish him for using bad language. I have also met David's mother, so.......... Yes, Hans, don't believe everything you read - most philosophers state that - but do see the man under the PR stuff. He did want to stay here and I know the full history - but I am too loyal to my friends to share it, cos some blighter would twist it all, anyway. I also have loads of photos of his wedding, and I could have made a

(cont..) fortune from Hello magazine, couldn't I - but David wanted it all kept private and no pics of that, nor of his wife and family nor subsequently of little Cassius, all an indication of what a good genuine person he is. And don't forget, he has to sell tickets for the fights, so in comes the PR machine! Say no more. And please, dear Hans, don't spoil yourself by being so cynical. Under all that cynicism beats a caring heart, I am sure!
