| You have given very little information to diagnose a problem, so i can only give you a general idea, first - did this happen after a recent upgrade or installation of some software, if so, try restoring to a previous date when you know it was working OK (backup any data files first - if you can). Next - Laptops are susceptable to overheating - make sure you do not obstruct the vents when using - this can cause the unit to freeze. Also try and listen to it - are the fans working (they may not start immediately after switch on) There is a possible conflict with either a program (in memory) - does it happen when you run something specific, or when it connects to the internet? if so try uninstalling the offending program. Try running your virus checker, (on all drives) you may have picked up a virus. The next step will be to look at hardware problems, but unless you are happy about taking it apart - take it to an expert. Sorry i cannot be more specific - hope it helps |
