30K donation

10K donation

130K villa sold.donated to KAR

17K cash also from same villa

can i ask what happend and how this money was spent?

I as a donator would like to see how our money is really spent?

It would be good to see up to date accounts,not past gone years.

when there is a question of a mass kull,KAR go quiet.because if a mass kull they dont get as much donations.

KAR say there is no Vet who will do a mass Kull. but the ministry of agriculture in nicosia will mass kull any amount of animals for us .

maybe the less dogs on the streets,means the less the english will donate?

Why is the KAR bank account located in ENGLAND?

maybe if it was here in TRNC where lots of donations are given its possible TCs would really know the extent of the donations that are given?

I for 1 dont feel accounts tally up,and as soon as you stop dropping off your stray dogs in english ex pat areas it will be better.

Drop them off in turkish living areas.

then there will be less to feed!

Kar always seem to be in for a hiding - surely at their AGM's up to date accounts are available? I do think a major problem in the dog world, there are two kinds of dogs - street and dogs which have at some time of their life been in human contact. I'm afraid if i had to go back to the uk, the reason would be probably ill health or money difficulties and therefore i would take my dogs to a ministry vet and have them put to sleep, i would have to live with that decision. too many people pass the buck and either release the dog or dump it at Kar. As i hate seeing animals struggling to survive i wish the people in the know would make the information more available where to find Ministry vets and the procedure of how when we find stray animals, how to contact them so they can deal with the problem. Maybe also to have a procedure if a dog is wearing a collar wait 24 hours then if your dog went missing they would be the first people to contact. But how boring then these posts would stop

out of interest has anyone out there actually ever contacted the Ministry if they have a 'dog' problem in their area or even better dropped off anything there. I know once our TC neighbour did and very quickly the animals were gone but that was back in 2004.

The accounts aren't hidden, all life members are sent annual copies of KAR's accounts.

=> That's true. And why would KAR be obliged to answer questions on this or another public board?
