I am considering performing at Shayna Beach Club on 22nd December for a great pre Christmas rock evening (with no Christmas songs at all, guaranteed) should be a good fun evening and a great start to the hols in a great location !(no hearing aids neccesary) As it is the party season i would like to know your opinions (polite please) as to if it is worth it !! thanks ! I think we should collect on the night for a chosen charity !(to be decided by all) i think we need about 100 people to make it worthwhile ! thanks

Zero ! its not actually heavy rock things like Santana, gary moore,the who. pink floyd ! i think heavy rock is stuff like Nazareth AC/DC ! more the softer option ! thanks all for your support will do my best to keep the noise down i miss playing to people rather than 4 walls !!

been unable to form a band despite auditioning many musicians ! therefore i have played bass, drums ,keyboards, on most tracks and recorded them in my studio with the occasional instrument, usually keyboards as it is not my strongest, by session friends in uk e mailed to me ! so i am on my own which is very daunting for me having usually a gaggle of great musicians beside me to make me sound ok !! hope you can make it ! because the tracks are real instruments i think they sound great but am open to comments hopefully polite ones !!

They have a great dynacord PA down there, with bins, should sound good through that, ill be there, good luck.

What a superb evening. A stunning performance by Barry that was both powerful .with just the right mix of humour. and at times very emotional. in particular his own composition and the Gary Moore song "Still got the blues for you" .. My lady and I just couldn't hold the tears back on those. This man is exceptionally talented and certainly one of the giants in the music business, yet with out a trace of conceit. It was a pleasure to meet this man whose warmth and grace made him so easy to talk to, - a man who has simply accepted his talent and got on with the business, and I for one would be more than happy if I had a just a tenth of this musician's talent and experience. We will be looking forward to his next performance and I would suggest that those who did not go last nite should not make the same mistake twice. The stage set and presentation was such that I felt that could have almost been at a "big" venue.

What a superb evening .....

All of the backing tracks were created by Barry himself. Definitely not just yer average Karaoke stuff. He told us it took 5 months work to complete which I can well believe .

So, it could be a while before I can face picking up my guitar again Only joking ... tommorrow I start getting up early and get practicing.



I believe Anna also deserves a mention here. She sang the last song of the evening with Barry and his "band" behind her. This lady seemed to "grow" with the size of the stage set. and gave us a very impressive performance.
