Here it is, the Whitsun Bank Holiday, so what shall we do. A trip to the seaside, with diesel at our local garage £1.29 per litre, maybe not. A nice walk in the country, not the same when you have to wear a fleece, hat and gloves, weather forcast is strong winds and heavy rain, temperature around 12 degrees, maybe not. Nothing on the television, again, didn,t even record The Eurovision Song Contest, silly me. Oh well, never mind, it will soon be Tuesday and I can go back to work.

But next Monday I am flying out to Lapta for a three week holiday, yippeee, please tell me the weather is warm and I will be able to lie in the sun with a good book and a cool drink !!!!!!!!

This is even more depressing when you are in the tourist industry like we are, I have a Fish & Chip Restaurant at the coast and this is the 3rd bank holiday washout this year. The sooner we sell up and move to our apartment at Seaterra Bay the better.
