My 14 year old daughter is profoundly deaf. We spend July/Aug in Cyprus and have desperately tried to find other deaf people for her to mix with. Could anyone please provide information on deaf clubs/organisations I could contact, or if you know of any deaf people who would be happy to meet with us.

I havent heard of any deaf community although there must be one.

I presume you want BSL and not TSL ?

I acted as an interpreter in BSL and for deaf blind uk as well.

Hopefully we should be coming over to live in Aug/Sept, so I will see what I can find out for you if thats any help?

Hi Chris, BSL or TSL it really doesn't matter, deaf people can communicate with other deaf people irrespective of their origin. My daughter would just love to meet anyone who is deaf in Cyprus. Any info would be great. Thanks
