I do see your point (to a degree) here and I (as a woman of around the 60 years old mark) did rather resent your message on another thread that we are all witches, sitting round a cauldron.



I realise it's frustrating to post reasonable, sensible messages on here, asking for information. BUT... the problem seems to be that you did (in the past) make no secret of looking for a companion (female). Now, human nature being what it is, you have, unfortunately, got the 'flak'. I appreciate that your postings about the dialling code and now the inability of your friend to join Cyprus 44, are genuine. However, being NC, you can't sneeze (I'm being polite) in the west of Kyrenia without it being reported in the east.

Yes i agreebut there are certain ladies eg adagirl,we did have dinner a year or so ago,we never redated.I then got a little enibriated and expressed my opinions on 44.End of relationship,and quite rightly.

I then "courted"Sandie on 44,and she came here.This failed again!!!

As an aside Hans, did you read the letters page in Cyprus Today (today). The one that grabbed my attention was titled 'Morons at charity event'. Since reading this I have been trying to find out who Mrs Nicky Knockov of Kleptokoy is. I think that If I had a relationship with her then I would never have to pay for food again. As for Mr Ivor Bigbelly of Gazi Glutton It could be anyone of hundreds of people but perhaps the author of the letter should indicate what tattoos this particular gentleman had adorned on him so that we could narrow it down a bit.

Anyway back to the thread subject of which I do believe was addressed in message no.2.

The truth is, AJ, that I only had a quick look at Cyprus Today (today) and the content couldn't keep me away from the pub. But I noticed this letter also. Amazingly the author didn't blame the Germans and not even the Dutch nor did he mention the Battle of Arnhem. A letter to frame. I'm considering to scan the letter and make it available here. What do you think?

Yep good idea, it may be able to help me in my quest for finding Mrs Nicky Knockov, I think I love her.

Could be another Cyprus44 board romance in the making and maybe it would take the heat off of Mike.

In fact I would ask for any other members help in finding this lovely lady and If she is not selfish and would be willing to share all of her accrued food with me then I know it would be a relationship made in heaven.

=> I think we can find her, AJ. It must be the same lady that showed up this year at every opening of a new pub or restaurant between the Karpaz and Karşiayaka. She always wrote on this board how she enjoyed the free food and drinks and that she certainly would come back. But she never did. It did start as a very serious question.A MALE friend,sitting next to me,as I wrote,wanted to join the forum.

He is returning to UK tomorrow,but after seeing some of the replies,is considering his request.

HE that is a MALE is back before NEW Year,so WE may try again then.WE did try and find Izzet's email no but failed.
