Some or most people here are afraid of giving any information about themselves. OK. But did you know that *you* are in at least 250 databases already? Governmental and commercial. Collecting more info about you is mostly done via the internet. Your web behaviour is stored every time in some database somewhere. Biggest collector: Google and other search engines. Frightening?

Have you ever tried to find out what Google stored about you (and that's only what they show in the public domain...). Try http://www.google.com and write down your first and surname in the search window. Also try "Images" (top left). Don't worry - you'll be in the Google database already...

You are so right - frightening! That's why I can't understand the fuss people made when Identity Cards were mooted in the U.K. They know all about you anyway!!
