Hi all, Ime thinking of starting a window cleaning buisness in cyprus but not sure if the people of north cyprus get there windows cleaned or not. I come to north cyprus for six weeks every summer and spend half a day cleaning my windows. I have a window cleaning company in the uk but not sure if it can work in cyprus. Please can i have your thought on this subject. Regards Bestty

Can I just say that getting a window cleaning round started is a hard thing to get off the ground, when my Son first came here that's what he did, he had hundreds of pamphlets printed in English/Turkish and distributed them in all areas, but it seems although he got a few calls and quite a lot of work, people seemed to want their windows cleaned when they first moved in and he worked nearly all day on a few places as they hadn't been cleaned before, but after that if he asked shall I make a note to call back in a month the reply was mostly I will give you a ring, so after doing all the donkey work they took over after that.

and he gave them a cheap price but after 9 months he gave up.

you need a busness license and i think you still need to put up 100,000 dollars bond with government, best way is to find turkish cyp to go in with and be very trusting
