A few days ago a black lab cross about 12 months old turned up at our house in Lapta, he has no collar but is well behaved and responds to english commands, we are quite happy for him to stay but thought it right to ask around ,not wanting to deprive anyone of their pet.

Hey!! I know there has been a black dog - similar to the one you are describing, hanging out in Lapta round by 'The Pines'... Not far from JK's. It didn't have an owner, but has a lovely temperament. I am sure that you will not be depriving anyone by taking care of it... if it's the same dog...?! Well done, Cazzy...

There has also been a black lab bitch hanging around Zofiros villas (near the Merit) in Alsancak. Poor soul had a snare round her foot and was very heavy with milk. They rang KAR and they said take it to Firdez and then when it`s treated take it back and let it loose!!!!!

Just an update,first thanks for all the kind comments, secondly thanks keith caley for your offer but i dont want to put his photo on, as he is so cute, we would have a queue half way down the road.If anyone was looking for him my description would suffice, Jet, as he is now known ,has settled in magnificently and is a valued member of the familly.
