For a couple of weeks now, our dog had a lump in the ear flap. The vet removed the lump and we discovered it was a .22 airgun slug. This was not a ricochet as the slug was undamaged, love to find this prat and put a slug in his XXXX.

Wasn't there any bleeding or anything to suggest something was wrong?

That is awful to find your dog has been on the receiving end of these moronic idiots antics.

Nothing surprises me now.

My sister visiting me for a few days was hit in the back by shot richochet whilst sat on terrace. It won't be long before a child is seriously hurt.

Hope your dog is ok now.

Hi Daisy,

No blood , when we first noticed it, it was just a hard lump on his ear, thought it was a large tick to start with. The vet (Garfields) was quite upset, the dog is fine now thankyou.

Oh this is terrible! Poor little mite didn't seem to suffer with it though, maybe a little sting when it first happened, he had a lucky escape. I agree with Mindy how long will it be before its a child?
