Can we relocate our plants as well as us, or are there strict rules governing this?-house plants and walnut saplings are the order of the day!

Hi Chris, The rules are very strict you cannot bring anything of that nature in unless you have an import license.

Do not know the legalities about importing plants from UK, however our own experience was quite painless.

We prepared them for travel, (no import licence) wrapped tied and watered them, lastly put all 8 of them on our 40 ft container against all the experts advice!! 6 weeks later (truth) they arrived.

Container was opened by customs, first to be unloaded were the plants no one batted an eyelid at these trees and large plants in equally large pots.

Only one did not survive the journey a further 2 died months later.

I offer no advice only our own personal experience, good luck with your move.

Thank you gottheyips(is it contagious?)

Will probably attempt your cunning plan, if you are ever in the tatlisu area, and if I finally get electric and water, you are welcome(if they survive) to fresh walnuts!!!
