Someone said all the Planets are in line on a certain date in december of the year 2012 and something major is gonna happen, and theres something about a calander aswell, can someone enlighten .

Planets have aligned many times over time, and it will happen again and it will cause no effect. The moon and the sun has more of an effect on the gravitational pull on the earth, and that happens monthly, yet we are still here.



The planets will 'align' although not perfectly, and only causing negligable if any effect on the earth.

An actual line up isnt going to happen for another 30 years, in 2040, mercury, mars, venus, jupiter and saturn (all the planets you can see with the naked eye) will align within about 90 degrees.



Guess what, this happened in the year 2000 aswell.



The only reason people are assuming the end of the world is because...

They recon the gravitational pull will raise the tidal level, making tsunamis, or pulling earth from its orbit and pulling it closer 2 the sun.



The gravitational pull is just not strong enough. Even with all the planets combined, the suns pull is stronger, so why hasnt that killed us already...



It wont happen ;).. :D

Every year we have something like this and nothing happens on the said date. The amount of times I have heard that such and such a date will bring the end of the world and then it all goes on as normal after that date. Someone told me they found a new mint coined Lira in their purse which wasn't there before and this meant ghosts exist. There are a lot of gullible people out there, waiting to be exploited.
