[KBCC] New Backgammon & Chess club in Karaoglanoglu

Founded today: "Karaoglanoglu Backgammon & Chess Club" (KBCC). The meeting place is The Pegasos Bar/Restaurant (50 meters from Lemar) in Karaoglanoglu. Ladies, gentlemen and children are welcome. You can learn backgammon and chess free of any charge. First meeting: Thursday, December 23, 2009 (from 2 pm).

Reminder: The "Alsancak Backgammon & Chess Club" will meet tomorrow, Wednesday, December 16 (from 2 pm). Meeting place: Guido's Bistro, Alsancak.



The next Backgammon & Chess Clubs will be founded in Girne and Lapta. I've found two nice venues and the owners are eager to host us. More info on this board soon.

Hope the one in Lapta is the pub that can't be named at the end of our road, then hubby might be persuaded to join.

We will be extending our stay when we come back in a few weeks so I reckon I will be coming to learn how to play Backgammon, already play chess.

=> No! This meeting is exceptional, because Guido's Bistro was closed yesterday. Liz and Guido Spina were returning from the UK.
