When driving from Girne to Lefkosha (North Nicosia) you see the huge Turkish and Turkish Cypriot flag on your right hand. When driving from Lefkosha (North Nicosia) to Girne you see the same flags again. It's unavoidable, but there is something wrong. The question is: what is wrong?

Long shot, but they appear on your return journey to be the wrong way around.

=> Exactly! The order of flags is pretty simple. First, from left to right, the flag of the hosting country, followed by flags from any other nation, in alphabetical order by their names.

The flags are "supposed" to be viewed from Kyrenia for them to appear in the correct order.

=> Of course not! And I apologise it has something to do with (Northern) Cyprus.

It's only when you zoom in on North Cyprus in Google Earth that you realise why they say it's the only flag visible from space.

Quite amazing really.

I had just looked up there, and the TRNC flag is flying perfectly.

=> Not within your limited view at reality, Mark. Next time, before you cross the border (where *you* refuse to show your passport of course - and are allowed to enter the TRNC (not)... ), get out of your car and have a close look. The flags are far bigger than the dishes you sell...

P.S. Be a big boy and don't give me your usual sh*t about "the border", please...
