Well the Clarets were well and trully robbed last night. Of course the Gooners played their part in a most entertaining game, but 2 pivotal decisions went the way of the " big club"! The ref gave a free kick for a hand ball INSIDE the box..........even the most biaised Gooner pundit acknowledged as a valid "pen". Then there was "fletch's" goal that was disallowed for offside. I don't know for certain but the linesman on that side really needs to look at the rule about giving the forward the benefit when "in line" with the defence. He would appear to be of the " old school"....... sponsored by Specsavers! Eagles nearly smashed the woodwork when Almonia was destroyed at his near post ! Beastie restored some confidence at the back again. Overall, a very enjoyable game, but one where the Clarets faithful left the ground feeling as if their pockets had been picked. We are now off to play the team that put it's B side out against the champions!

I'm with you re the Fletch goal, Clarets. Watch the likes of Torres on the same evenin and ponder,eh?
