For some reason it is not allowable on this forum to post links to certain other Northern Cyprus Forums, even if they are showing info that is important to all here.

However it appears acceptable for a forum member to direct people to their own site where they gain financially reward for each hit on that forum. On this site you can view information that has already been taken from other web sites.

What do members think of this situation?

It is not acceptable to be directed to a "fellow site" sharing info freely but it is OK to be directed to a site where financial gain is made.

RE msg 1: The owner and absolute boss without competition of Cyprus44, Izzet Zorlu, has decided to allow links to sites where content is shown that Cyprus44 cannot facilitate. Why do you bother to write about it?!

Re msg 1, if you want our opinion then perhaps you could give us a bit more info about who you think is making a 'financial gain'.

It is not necessary to name names when a general opinion is being asked for.

Treat as a hypothetical question and answer in negative or affirmative as to acceptability.

I can't see a problem with links to other forums, members of this forum will still come back here to discuss the links if they want it discussed.

Either allow all links or none at all, is my opinion.

Occasional reference is fine but not acceptable to promote another forum here deliberately day in and day out.

Why discuss this subject here?! It's obviously not an issue for board owner Izzet Zorlu - and that's all that counts.

Perhaps you need to re-aquaint yourself with the forum rules, specifically rule 15 and that should answer your question.
