Did you see it? Catch it? Knnow it was a spider? If caught, look it up on the net - if you are concerned as to toxic venom or not, I wouldn't wait for someone on here to advise you as surely time is of the essence, rather - ring local Doctor or Tourist Board to find out if there are poisonous spiders or not.........

This was a thread a few days ago.. someone having a snake in his pool and not knowing at all what kind it was - and the snake was most probbaly killed by his neighbour.. Some spiders a poisonous.. one kind is even deadly, but I doubt that you would still be writing here if bitten by that one.. Also very unlikely as they live under rocks and are very very rare..

Put some ice on the bite and wait a few hrs.. If pain get worse in the first 3 hrs than mabe take pain killer.. If swelling continiues and pain - go and seek medical assistance. Also watch out for alergic reaction. most of the spider bites are not as worse as a bee stiche...

For all! There are poisonous animals living here! Yes, in YOUR garden, in YOUR house or in the sea! Go and get info about them. Dont be so ingnorant to the nature you live in. Buy books about the flora/fauna of Cypus
