| Twitter has been hacked by an unknown group called the Iranian Cyber Army (!). Twitter have acknowledged that their security has been breached. Passwords are compromised. If you are in the habit of using the same password for al your different website accounts, then they are all compromised. It would be wise to change all your passwords quickly if you have a twitter account |

| I don't think the passwords are at risk, It was a DNS attack and to quote security firm Trend Micro spokesperson ""This has the net effect of making it look like, in this example, servers belonging to Twitter were compromised when in reality that was not the case" Lifted from BBC website Wonder what Stephen Fry found to do during the down time? Don't answer that! Harold |
