ok. lets check your drivers,

right click on (my comuper) then (properties) then (device manager) in that directory you need to see mice and other pointing devices or mouse icon. if there is no question mark infront of it your laptop drivers are ok.

İf thats ok , there is a problem with mouse or probleb accured while installation.

if you want send me turkish instructiıns and ı can translate them for u . :P

Yes Smithy, just pop it back in to Laconic and they'll no doubt sort it out for you while you wait or if there is a problem with the mouse exchange it for a new one.

Sheila - I have an optical mouse which I just plugged into a spare USB and I did not not an installation disc. Think there may be 2 branches of Laconic. Hope it gets sorted soon. Sandie

What version of windows are you running? - some of the optical mice from laconic aren't compatible with Vista. Also, are you running a laptop or or standard PC? - if a laptop, the first mouse device you use on bootup becomes the default for that session. Hope this helps
