Maybe some people are having problems with their internet because of these strong winds tonight, i have just got mine back after being off for nearly an hour.

I have just signed on before going to bed to see if I am missing anything, and I thought 'Wow - where is everyone'. Maybe they are out and having fun. I must admit I lost my internet (main one) and have put my 'dongle' to work. That is O.K. Thank goodness for backup.

So I am not sure if we are all 'deserted rejected' or an 'elite brigade'.

Anyway, hope you are all warm and well and tucked well away form the wind which is howling around here.

Marie the K9 have increased since my return.Another lovely 5 month old girl. I do not even put them on here any more as so many do .Only one day back a nd there she was. Two more turned up today . Guido made me close the door. It just goes on and I cant turn my back on them. I know what people say about me but with my hand on my heart I can not see them go without. It breaks my heart and I know I cannot afford any more. We did the books today and the cost of thier food let alone the vets bills. God I could have a face lift xxxxxxxx

What with Tom being old in the cold of U.K and the dogs being 'out in the cold' in terms of love, the whole atmosphere is getting chilly.

We don't have icicles, but I just realised I should take a look at the plastic furniture on the roof, or it might end up in Lilli's place!

Don't know what to suggest to cure Tom's chills, or Lilli's ills, but I reckon that being good hearted brings its own reward - has to, doesn't it? As to cost of animal foods, perhaps a system could be started up of leaving tins at Guidos! KAR do it outside supermarkets, so maybe some of the loving Cyprus44 writers could drop off a tin or two en passant.

So whether in the 'real world' or this windy one - keep warm inside and out.

I know you are not a charity, but feeding strays is a charitable thing. Maybe, just maybe, the chess players etc, could just happen to have a tin of dog food with them when they come. Obviously they won't expect you to dish it up with chips!

I would, if I was coming. Just as I decided to come to backgammon, I can't until 12th January, but I could bring a tin and encourage others to do the same, but preferably before that, cos we don't want the dogs starving to death!

Or maybe a few Christmas left overs could be rbought down!

Seriously, I am sure some people would love to share in helping if only now and then.

Then you can start saving for the Face Lift - if you have the courage!!!!!!

What do you mean, so few of us tonight, it's now 11.45 am on 20/12 and there is hardly anyone around, mind you that is Brisbane time. Sweating it out here in Australia, Santa wears flip flops and Christmas shopping in 35 degrees is no joke but having a great time with the family. Merry Christmas to you all.
