Why oh why do we need people to come on here to tell me " its raining in Karsiyaka etc " its snowing in Essex,

are people bloody bothered? or is the Brits using their only means of talking to other people ie: " Nice day again." For Gods sake give a rest please

I agree, it is strange how certain nationalities have such traits, e.g. Brits talking about about the weather and other nationalities whinging about the fact that they do this

Oh Dear me Ken,

What a sad person you are, perhaps you would rather talk about football or where the latest restaurant has opened. I started the last thread about the weather, "It's snowing in London" because we are due to arrive in Cyprus on Monday and it is very difficult when it is snowing outside and you are packing, to know what to actually pack. Thank goodness not everyone is like you and some kind hearted and interested enough members answered, even though they did go off thread to the Viz comic. Even that makes threads more interesting. So I am sorry if this has upset you but surely you don't have to read these threads, like I don't read the ones about football or which bank is giving the best interest. Have a nice day.

Mindy - sounds as though you'd give Tracy Emin a run for her money with that.

Just to cheer all you 'weather watchers' up - it's freezing cold with a good few inches of snow in this part of the UK this morning

Snowy here , stuck in the house at the front of an open log fire with a brandy in my hand. Waiting for the snow to melt. I hope it lasts for another six months.

I do hope all the friends and family either coming to the UK or going to NC for Christmas manage to get to their destinations safely and on time. Airports and railways still disrupted and loads of cancelled flights.

Over one hundred people in High Wycombe had to spend the night in the John Lewis Department Store the roads were so bad.

Despite all the chaos can I take this opportunity to wish everyone a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
