I was introduced to my husband by an American girl in 1974 and had since lost conrtact. Have just managed to trace her again through facebook after more than 35 years. Am absolutely delighted! The power of the internet!

Yes, we are emailing and catching up. It is like writing the story of my life trying to explain everything that has happened in the last 35 years. Hippo, I am sure that is true, but only if you are looking for an affair or divorce ... and I am not. Just think it's great that you can reconnect with people you never should have lost contact with in the first place.



Happy Christmas to all at Chess/Backgammon Club. We bought a new Backgammon set in the Spice Market in Istanbul and Andrew is going to try to teach me slowly. See you all on January 12th. Love seeing the family here in England, but am in danger of becoming agrophobic with the snow! Looking forward to a bit of sunshine!

a little boy I child minded 35yrs ago, has contacted me through facebook, he is now serving in the armed forces. I am so proud to have been part of his life x

Great news Sheila, an old army friend contacted me through friends reunited, hadn't spoken for 33 years, he and his wife were coming over to Cyprus to see me in November, unbelievably 3 weeks before his visit he collapsed and died. Enjoy your catch up, I have several times via these sites.
