News Just In Chris and Ola A travesty, in my opinion, but that's what you get when the great British public are allowed to choose the winners!

Sports presenter Chris Hollins has won BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing, beating actor Ricky Whittle in a public vote in the final. The BBC presenter had performed four dances with professional partner Ola Jordan. Both couples produced energetic final showdances which impressed the judges. The judges' scores after the final dance gave Whittle and Natalie Lowe 190 points and Hollins and Jordan 186 - but these did not affect the final result.

Well I am glad he won because it was a travesty anyway, Ali Bastian should have won, this was a dance show and the judges should have had the final say, then Ali and Brian would have been in the final against Ricky and Natalie, I don't care for Ricky Whittle anyway and yes he was good but not as good as Ali.

Well, I thought it was an "Entertainment" show, so if that's the case, I believe the correct couple won. (Just my opinion)

Haven't watched any Strictly this year, have never missed before, but it is now too long, and mainly because I LOATHE Alesha Dixon's laugh, and feel she has no place in the line up of Judges - Arlene should never have been sacked (can't blame Alesha for that - not her decision) but for her to say she (Alesha) is qualified to judge because she has "been in the same position as the contestants, unlike the judges" is ludicrous - how does she think the judges got to be where they are now? by entering competitions!!!!!!!!!! I have read snippets of what Alesha has said, and it seems she repeats the other judges, and has nothing to contribute.....bring back Arlene

I thoroughly enjoyed the final, and for his sheer entertainment value , perseverence and personality I do not begrudge the Hobbit his win, however I did vote for Ricky and Natalie simply because he was the better dancer and after all it is a dancing competition. I say bring back Arlene or at least a judge who knows what they are talking about. LL
