A cold snap kills germs, it's good for you! If you keep saying that you'll probably eventually believe it.

If you're that bored, Nigel, maybe you could come and fit the white tape on the cable joint for the aircon unit you fitted in March. lol

Only minus 17 here in Bavaria guys. Anyone want to volunteer to help me clear the snow in the morning?

No? Who can blame you?

OK, I chose to live here! Mea culpa!

Looks like it is going to be a lovely day again here in Lapta.

But I do miss the snow especially round about Christmas time.

Nat - message 20 - just heard on BBC morning news that there are 'disruptions' at Stansted. That's all they are saying at the moment and recommending passengers contact the airlines. Not much help, I agree, but Stansted seemed to be OK up until now. Temperatures dropped again into minus figures last night! It's absolutely freezing here in Bury St Edmunds.

Hope you have a safe journey. Wrap up warm.

The weather here in Bristol is dreadful this morning, we woke to snow and ice everywhere, Sky are reporting disruptions everywhere Nat, all airports affected, more snow if forecast later today for the south east so it isnt sounding good I'm afraid. I know its nice to have snow but personally I hate the stuff.

To think We missed it all by a day. Could have been stuck in UK. Been warm here today 20 degrees. Wasnt so nice when we got back here. Those strong winds friday night took our shed completely down. The damage across the island has ben awful. I love snow but only on xmas day xxx

Thanks guys! Fingers crossed! I agree the snow just causes disruption and is dangerous and slippery when it gets all slushy too! Everyone always wants it to snow Xmas day when you are in the house all day so it's nice to look out on but it never does! It is always sunny and nice so you want to be out-side going for a walk instead of sitting at the dinner table for about 5 hours!!!!!!!!!

Saw a man this morning wheel spinning in the snow not really getting anywhere. He was furious. Shouting, swearing, going absolutely mental.

He needs to get a grip, I thought to myself.

Local Council: "We can't clear the roads because we've run out of grit."

Hmmm, I can't send you a cheque for my Council Tax because I've run out of stamps!

Yes, the kids love it so much, bless 'em, but I didn't think it funny when my car

got stuck in ice going up to my club for a swim! Maintenance man came to rescue

(must get him a nice pressie) and there was an ambulance passed us - 4-wheel driven

by a young woman who also got stuck! "My man" got out and told her how to put it

into 4-wheel - simple you just press 4-wheel, that's what it's for. She was even more

stupid than me and not fit to be driving an ambulance.

According to the politicians, i undertsood climatic change was going to make the planet hotter............. so why all the snow, ice all over Europe.

Could the hot air be coming from the politicians....................... as a smoke screen to cover up for the mess they have got their countries into?
