Do you remember when Milk Tray came in 1/4 pound boxes at Xmas. And selection boxes had spangles in them, and Fry's 5 boys chocolate. What else did you get in your selection box or Xmas stocking? Chris

Chris - I remember the quarter pound boxes of Milk Tray and Fry's Chocolate Cream bars were my favourite when I was a kid. Milky Way, Picnic. Remember Caramac - sickly stuff! Merry Christmas to you and yours. Jean and Paul x

Always got chocolate coins in my stocking. Our neighbour always sent me a tin of Sharps toffees which I loved. Think the tin did the trick.

Fry Chocolate cream bars now they were fab. I remember when I was a child my father had a shop which also sold sweets, I know this was naughty but when he had the tins of Cadburys on show I always took the little bars of chocolate out, customers were always saying (so I heard from my Father) why dont they put the little bars of chocolate in the tins now, I knew the answer and I think my dad did too )

Lke dark chocolate Bounty but not nearly so good as Ruffle bars. MMMMM. They are definately YUMMY. Or you can still buy a quarter pound of the individual sweets. Long as it is plain chocolate, loved Bournville almond choc bars ( no longer available). Updated must be Thorntons plain choc brazil nuts. Getting a case or the munchie-itis. Thinking of breaking into my grandsons selection box!!!! Coachie you are too slow, why didn't you hide them!

Jamborie bags, flying saucers and lemonade chrystals, I know they're not chocolate, but i grew into the sweet taste with Fry's chocolate cream and Caramac. My fave was the chocolate buttons with 100's and 1,000 on them. I think you can still get them, but they don't taste the same.
