Well, Morrison's had run out by 3.30pm today, so we went to Tesco's and they were all marked down to 30p a pack!

Hi sloan - we went to Sainsbury on Wednesday evening and they had very little of anything left. Him indoors went at 08.00 this morning to get our piece of beef.

AND..............no poinsettias - anywhere. Usually, at this time of year, they are paying you to take them away!

Merry Christmas.

Mr Gray

I almost thought I would not have the opportunity to send you Seasons Greetings, and yet, here it has presented itself!

I would very much like to pass on to you Seasons Greetings and the very best for 2010.

My son is, at present, in the Antipodes.

All the very best to you and your Bazooka.

Jean Wickenden.

Forgot to mention that the Tesco's is open 24 hours ... but did not check that that includes Christmas Eve. I am sure that the supermarkets have stocked less this year as a few seemed to be out of a lot of essential items quite early.

I ordered online from Tesco and they delivered on the 20th, that was the nearest date I could get to Christmas. I ordered a month ago. The answer is get all your stuff before Christmas Eve! You can buy frozen roast potatoes have you looked in the freezer section when you were looking?
