Hi all, thought i'd update you on our planned drive over to the lovely trnc which was starting this evening!! (you should remember, we did bug you Uturk)!!! Lisas dad has been diagnosed with 'C' today so all is cancelled until ?????? We are sooo jealous we cant be enjoying the month of sunny June with all you folks out there but hope to be there at our villa sometime this year..

Will post again prior to see if anyone needs anything bringing....

hi li n lee , i'm so sorry to hear the news of lisa's dad , but the ' c ' treatment is progressing all the time , so stay positive and get all the information you can regarding his kind of 'c ' from his consultants and don't be afraid to bombard him with questions and treatment plans , there will always be another time for you and lisa's trip , my thoughts are with you both

sorry to hear lisa's old man has been diagnosed, but i suppose its better you heard now before you took off otherwise its much worse to hear bad news when you are away from a loved one even thou thers not much you can do just be there for them and hope he has a speedy recovery like simba has said the technology they have learned over the last 5 years or so it not the end of the world

Thanks all passed on your comments to lisa. she is currently having a vodka. Whilst I am sat here reflecting where we could have been, we have to take one day at a time now.

TRNC villa will hopefully be with us forever and you guys.....thanks again for your support.

We would now be at Dover docks in the pissin rain waiting ferry.

PS. any shipments of cheap TRNC vodka most welcome, will pay, its gonna cost!
