Did anyone else see the chase off the coast this morning - a small craft, only slightly larger than a jet ski, heading west at great speed followed a few minutes later by the coastguard ...... at top speed! This all happened just a few minutes ago off Karsiyaka....
Don't you hate when you know you'll probably never find out what was happening?! |

I watched from the mountain road whilst walking the dog , looked to me as if the small craft was leaving the coast guard in its wake!

Opposite Karsiyaka 'harbour' about 11.45am ...... and yes, looked like they weren't going to catch him! But they were sure trying, we could hear their engines for a long time after! |

| A clue might be that the chase was seen off the Karsiyaka coast. |

| The smaller boat was the Sahil Guvenlik rib the larger one the Sahil Guvenlik launch just a jolly for the boys I was in the marina when they launched them saw them go and saw them come back.
The time would have been around 10-111 am |
