Well very nearly anyway. How did we all fair this year.Good year, bad year.

Bad points for me were two many funerals, constant worry about losing my job, weird phone calls and threats

(work related)

Good points for me were, apartment finished ahead of schedule with deeds ta boot.Rovers finishing top four in the Super League. And 1hr 52 min in the Humber half marathon.

All the best to all posters on here and hope your 2010 is a good one,

Paul.

Good points, bought our place without any problems and quit smoking, 7 months now, Footbal well I am from Hartlepool so we won't go into that one.

Here's hoping 2010 is a Happy and Prosperous one for all.

So, so glad to see the back of it!

What a bloody year. I will never forget it.

It was horrible for me.

The worst ever.

I have just 36 hours to wait for the new year and I know it will be better.

Roll on 2010.

Happy New Year for everyone

Paul - Happy 2010 to you, too.

Like you, too many funerals of late; I suppose that's one thing about growing older.

Husband due to lose his job next year - it's been decided his office is "surplus to requirements".

Good points - our son appears, at long last, to be settling down with a lovely girl and we both (fortunately) have good health.

Happy New Year to all.

2009. One of the worst years for me both professionally and personally. Roll on twenty ten.

Paul, wishing you a very happy New Year. For me had better years but believe me could have been a much worse one. Have now got our eleventh grandchild who is now after a little bit of a shaky start and still having check ups at the Sick Kids thriving and doing everything he should. Can't wait for mixed footie teams as we have one ready made apart from subs, but think we might just borrow a few (Santa can't afford subs).

Down point was not managing over to NC in September but 2010 is a new year and a new start. I wish everyone on the board health and wealth but the main and most important wish is for good health.

2009

bad points, cost! health problems , thankfully better at present, loss of father in law.

good points , still here! , less work, step daughters wedding, partners lucky escape from serious eye injury and more time spent in NC.

Paul....I have been married for 26 years now and i have washed, cooked, hoovered, polished, changed dirty nappies etc but i have never, ever ironed clothing.Today that all changed and i am no longer an ironing virgin.GOD ISNT IT BORING.Me and my big mouth.Last night we where all sat round chatting about things and i happened to mention about a pile of ironing in the kitchen. And made the mistake about boasting about how quick and easily i would be able to carry out this chore.Five hours later i am not even half way through the bloody pile,

I will expect you about 12 ish, you should just about make it from Hull.

A great big pile for you here! LOL
