| Think it's time for a few words of praise for the Post Office here, in Alsancak. During the last two weeks, we have received more than forty Christmas cards and letters, delivered to our door by our friendly and efficient postman.
Hope others have been similarly blessed. Wishing you all a Healthy and Happy 2010. |

Postman delivered 2 cards to our house on Christmas day.......one from Australia and the other from UK.

| You are so lucky I have never received any cards here except for the first 3/5 months of being here, now I have been living here now 5 years and nothing, where do all the missing letters etc go ????? |

| Praise due to Lapta Posta while we are on a roll,over the last month we have recieved cards ,letters and parcels from UK,none taking more than 8 days to arrive  I even got Grandkids school photo's,bliss - - - - - |

| so has Girne postmen forgotten how to mail letters in post boxes, they should take lessons from the Lapta postmen |

| Praise also has to go to our Catalkoy postman over 40 cards and a parcel also delivered here during Christmas. |

| We only got 2 cards out of 20 at Lapta Post Office and 2 parcels missing as well ! |
