No this is not a joke, the man is a genious and fully desrves his knighthood and other accolades.

My problem is his books. Two years ago I was bought for Christmas the Book - Must'nt Grumble, hard back edition.

The same person was suggested to that they buy me the first volume of the autobiography. So I was looking forward to unwrapping my pressy on 25th last month. So when I had to talk to my dear old mum later that day and had to sound pleased about receiving the paper back edition of same book.

So, does anyone have a copy of his earlier tome, Is it me? that they would be happy to swap for one of the above, very rare unsigned copies.

David i just love sir terry and to think we are from the same city.I did not know he had written a book but not surprised. what are the books called i need to get them now. not like angelas ashes are they all about limerick. Sorry Frank McCourt loved them but made me very sad as i also remembered those daYS IN LIMERICK. I have had the honour to meet terry on a few occasions and love his irish charm. cyprusishome - if no-one there can help, I'd be pleased to either root through my collection of paperbacks (I've definitely got it somewhere) or try to get you a copy from a charity shop. Problem is, not coming out again until June. You may not want to wait that long?

Lilli, we sold one to the main book stall on Chateau Lambousa market. It's worth asking if they still have it. We only took it 3/4 weeks ago. Like you we think Sir Terry is the dogs - lol.

Carol - of course I can. I know I've got both books - if I can't find them in my garage (I have hundreds of books) I'll get what you want; I'll send Paul out to have a look. I, too, am a TOG in mourning.

At the moment, Jonnie (?) Walker is doing his show. Chris Evans is taking over at the middle of January.

When he did his last show (don't know whether you heard it?) it was very emotional. I was driving to work and had tears in my eyes.

Mind you, I'm soft

Keep in touch.

Oh, this is a sad time for me. I used to listen to Wogan (preceeded by Sarah Kennedy) every morning. How I wish I could get those programmes every morning now in Germany!
